Messages from Deep Down

In a strange turn of events, six young adults find themselves aboard a ship in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, in an attempt to do some good and change the world.

Luke, Anabel, Cy, Stephen, Jarryd, and Isaac set out to hire a seagoing vessel for five to six weeks out of Manila and manage to engage the Snarling Lobster and the man they refer to as Captain Barneyalthough theyre unable to pronounce his real name. Together their goal is to sail out into the ocean, pick up a boat full of rubbish, and take it away. In the resulting drama that unfolds from this mission, they hope to motivate humanity to make some drastic and more widespread changes. Along the way, theyll face the dangers and hardship as they draw closer to one another, experience some romance, and truly learn what it means to right a wrong.

This novel presents the tale of six young people on a voyage of adventure and environmental activism as they seek to make the world a better place.
