Edward decides to leave the romance scamming business, but at what cost and who's lives are impacted when he makes the decision?

It relieves him she is back, but he's furious as he examines her. There are red marks on her wrists and ankles where she was bound, and she has several bruises. She had to have put up a struggle because her wrists and ankles are cut from the restraints. Edward can't leave her like this. He strips off her dirty clothes and checks her private areas and panties, searching for evidence of a sexual assault. Thank goodness I know them so well, he thinks. He finds nothing.
