Ministry of Danger's protagonist is British born Henry Stone, whose good looks, strength, moral courage, and being a naval aviator attracts beautiful woman, but is envied by men. It also illustrates Henry's ability to keep cool-headed and graceful in any crisis.

Forced to face his own personal struggle of having lost the only woman he ever loved, the stunning blonde and former Miss America runner-up, Kay Beaudet, who died in his arms, and his desire to leave his executive position in Connecticut to build a trans-Pacific air-cargo airline based in Hawaii, Henry is unaware that Decimus Donovan, whom Henry caused to be put in Leavenworth Federal Prison during the Vietnam War for drug dealing, is now the head of an international drug cartel funded by the Chinese government, and is seeking revenge and retribution.

Beginning just before WWII in Tibet, and continuing through the Vietnam War into the early 1980's, Ministry of Danger follows a historically accurate path under seemingly impossible conditions as Henry finally destroys Decimus' cartel and achieves his dream of starting his airline.
