Modalities

The issues, challenges, technology, and progress of 3-D imaging, SPECT reconstruction, gastrointestinal endoscopy, and EIT are all explored in this text. Also investigated are the techniques, methods and issues involving accurate quantification of neuro-receptor-binding radioglands, and reconstructing images from the four types of incompleteness that arise in computed tomography: truncated projections; hollow projections; limited angle coverage; and arbitrarily missing values in projection.
