Mom and Me: Lessons from God in a Bipolar World

This book is a frank and honest look at growing up and living life in a Bipolar world. Having spent a lifetime caring for and loving both Mom and Pete, who suffered from bipolar disorder; I learned that often what I thought was my sacrifice in love was upside down. Indeed, they taught me more of love than I could have ever learned otherwise. What I at times saw as trials, God saw as wondrous opportunities to grow in His love. A deep search of the heart can reveal that love can overcome and forgive a myriad of mistakes, even those we make. There can be healing, strength, and hope that overcomes every blemish. The bonds of love that bind us can be greater than the brokenness that would tear us apart. This is especially true when the gentle hands of love which heal us are the very hands of God.
