Mommy and Me

This is a true story about a tiny kitten that was abandoned by his mother and found by two people who became his mommy and daddy.

Oh what a precious baby!

It didn't take long for Mommy to realize that she needed him as much as he needed her.

Muffin

I love my little Muffin God gave to me

He always knows best, exactly what we need.

I didn't really intend, to get another cat

But God knew we needed each other and placed him in my lap.

I'm so glad I heard you cry, as I was walking that day

Was it God that led me to walk that very way?

When Alan got him out from up under the house

He was so tiny and so scared, thank you to my spouse.

Bottle-feeding and all the things, a mommy's supposed to do

Oh, it is my pleasure. I'm glad God gave me you.

I've never really went and picked out any cat

It seems the needy ones knew where I was at.

My other cats lived long lives, fourteen to twenty-two

Now my precious baby, I hope you have a long life too.

Right now, you're snuggled up to my other arm

I promise I'll always care for you and keep you from all harm.
