Mopers, Hopers, Gropers, and Dopers

Frederick Bailes was among the most popular and important teachers of the "Science of Mind." Bailes served with "Science of Mind" founder Ernest Holmes as Assistant Dean of the Science of Mind Institute in Los Angeles. He also headed the largest Science of Mind church of its day. In addition, Bailes was an accomplished metaphysical healer, having healed himself of a so-called incurable disease. In this scarce and short treatment Bailes outlines four of the most common psychological styles of types that people display. These are the moper, hoper, groper and doper. Each type is outlined, then assessed in terms of its potential to bring about genuine change. An interesting and uncommon pamphlet by this important leader in "Science of Mind."
