Music, Education, and Multiculturalism presents a synosis of the development of multiculturalism in education and in music education. Beginning with a discussion of the philosophical underpinnings surrounding this issue, it traces the growth and developmetn of multicultural music education. It designed to assist music educators at all levels in understanding and implementing multicultural music education, and provides a complementary text to existing histories of music education.
