My Best Friends Are Trees

Suzie had an amazing summer with three of her best friends. They had nothing in common; they were trees, and Suzie was a squirrel. Yet, Oakley, the oak tree; Molly, the maple tree; and Princess, the pine tree, were more than just trees to Suzie. They were her friends, and they all found joy in each other's company. Suzie enjoyed the simple pleasure of running and jumping in the trees.

As autumn arrived, the trees provided Suzie with food and shelter. She made a new home in Molly, the maple tree, where she settled in and soon had her own little family. Suzie was overjoyed to introduce her girls to her friends, confident that the trees would provide for them just as they did for her.
