In her debut poetry book, My Favorite Color is Yellow, the self-published writer, Kayla Eloise, recounts the emotional turmoil of being confronted with such "unexpected irrationalities" in her early twenties. Each poem portrays a different emotion or realization within her experience and does so in order of occurrence. Journey through her mind as she embarks on an adventure of bewilderment, awareness, effort and healing, while the world around her remains oblivious.
