My First Haircut

My First Haircut is dedicated to all of the "Firsts" (You know who you are) who received their first haircut during my Husband's 50 years of running his Barbershop in a "Main street USA" type of city in the Midwest. Celebrating 50 years in the said location, with very little change is easy as Barber customers remain very loyal. As a matter of fact, many of his current customers were some of his "Firsts". Once you have a Barber, it is hard to make a change. Besides, where else can you go to hear the local news and the gossip is free!
Stop by and say Hi! sometime if you are in the Neighborhood, in Illinois, on Route 24. (You can Google the address). If you need a haircut, he can always try to squeeze you in. You can get a good haircut in an old-fashioned Barber shop, with old fashioned prices.
I am sorry to report, there is no longer a candy store next door; but if you stop by the Barber might have his popcorn popper running and you can have a bag just for stopping in.
