My First Montessori Book of Bead Counting to 100

My First Montessori Book of Bead Counting to 100, the sequel to My First Montessori Book of Tens, is designed to help children strengthen their understanding of numbers one through one hundred as presented in the Casa using manipulatives from The Bead Cabinet, a large free-standing cabinet filled with color-coded beads arranged in chains, squares, and cubes. The "For Parents" section of this book describes counting through one thousand as presented in The Bead Cabinet exercise, "The Thousand Chain."

Written and illustrated by AMI Primary Diploma holder Mary Da Prato, My First Montessori Book of Bead Counting to 100 describes strategies used in the Casa to help children solidify their understanding of linear counting through one thousand in preparation for skip counting, squared numbers, and cubed numbers as a foundation for elementary studies.
