A muse appears and inspiration is awakened. In a magical moment, words come rushing out, words that rhyme and words that reason. When the episode ends, a poem is born. Over the years, they pile up - tens, then hundreds, approaching a thousand. Now it's time to choose, and from a rather random process of selection, there emerges a book of verse.



Our writer's life began in the godforsaken land of Poland at the time of the great evil. Passing through the night of fire, she cheated death, perhaps strangely the better for the terrible experience. After being dropped in Krakow with nothing, her journey led her to Paris and then Montreal; finally, she settled in Stony Brook, NY. As the days came and went, she wrote poems of many things in many styles. In them are her thoughts and imaginings, her observations and reflections, always colored by her wit and ironic manner. So come and take part in a walk down her memory lane and perhaps yours.
