Police officers are super heroes in the eyes of their children. When their parents are in Law Enforcement, a child learns fast that crime fighting does not stop for birthdays, holidays or life events. This book helps readers navigate the beautiful proud perspective of a child who has a parent in Law Enforcement, working the night shift. My husband has policed the night shift of his law enforcement career for 20 years. Our son was the inspiration for this book. I've watched him adapt and navigate through, as he has had to grow up being as brave as his father, and accepting when daddy is not there because duty calls. This book is from his proud innocent perspective of what it is like to be a L.E.O child, having a L.E.O family, and having to accept when a parent is gone when you wish they were with you.
