Rabindranath Tagore was born on 7 may 1861. He was also known by his nickname Gurudev. Tagore was a world famous poet, novelist, and philosopher. Also, he was the first Indian to win a Nobel Prize in literature. Two of his poetic songs became the National Anthem of two nations- India's "Jana Gana Mana" and Bangladesh "Amar Sonar Bangla". Gitanjali is one of his most profound poems. Tagore won a Nobel Prize in literature in 1913. He died on 7th August 1941. Tagore novel naav Durghatna deals with the stories of such characters who have been swinging between love, loyalty-disloyalty, hatred and jealousy.
