Native American Representations

From Columbus' jottings about "Indios" in his journal to the image of Sacajawea on the new dollar coin, from the marauding Indians of the traditional western to the appearance of Native Americans in "Dances with Wolves", from cigar box caricatures to the Crazy Horse monument rising near Mt.
