Once upon a time humans spoke to each other. They listened, laughed with and embraced one another in full recognition of what it meant to be alive. They had rich relationships full of joy and sorrow, trust and remorse but most of all: they were authentic. Every day, they worked together through thick and thin, building lives and memories, loving and losing- taking risks- being human. But that is not what they story is about. This is a tale on the opposite end of history where Lorenzo Mancilioni, an Ethics professor, finds himself trapped in a complex labyrinth of his own making. He struggles to come to terms with his mistakes and then feels compelled to share his knowledge with the world. But will he do this in time, before the simple essence of what it means to be human is irreversibly changed forever?
