Nestors Russiske Krnike...

This is a medieval Russian chronicle, written by a monk named Nestor in the 12th century. It covers the period from the arrival of the Varangians in Russia in the 9th century to the reign of Vladimir Monomakh in the 12th century. The chronicle recounts the history of the early Rurikid dynasty, including the legendary figures of Rurik, Oleg the Wise, and Igor of Kiev. It is an important source for the history of early Russia.
