Neurology

Neurology is the branch of medicine dealing with the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the brain, nerves and muscle. Much of neurological practice is highly specialised and takes place in tertiary referral centres. However, neurological problems will be encountered by doctors and nurses in all branches of medicine in both the community and hospital environments, dealing with patients at all stages of life.
