Never a Fairy Tale

Parker Everson feels like a misplaced puzzle piece. After his parents divorced, he and his dad moved from Wyoming to Ohio. Although Parker doesn't fit in at his new school, a girl in his biology class, Grace McClintock, befriends him. But the McClintocks and the Eversons are different. While Parker is an atheist, Grace holds faith in what he believes is a fairy tale.
At first, Parker thinks Grace must have had a sheltered life since she is upbeat. However, he soon discovers her own trials. Why does Grace stand up for her beliefs when others disagree? How can her faith not waver even when hope is bleak?
