Eirwen has always been the sun, too bright and burning for her little Welsh village, and Mari Morgan her shadow: quiet, well-behaved and in love with nothing but music.

On the brink of starting university, the two friends throw off all that defines them to attend the 1970 Isle of Wight music festival.
