No 42 Winter Gardens Follow the story of Alma Roberts, who starts new employment, as a nursery maid for the Home Secretary. Alma enters the household of No 42 Winter Gardens and this is a new opulent world to her and she gets the job with help from her mother, who also works there. Alma gets involved with old and new friends and into some situations that she wish she never agreed to. London was a tricky time for a young woman, with nothing and little prospects. But someone she meets, will change her life forever.
