"No Truce With The Vampires: Those Who Wake" is a fantasy/horror/science-fiction mashup. It describes a world in which human beings have been reduced to the status of farm animals, forced to give up their blood to vampire masters. However, a human resistance group has been formed to attempt to regain human freedoms. And they have discovered that the vampires have a very powerful enemy - The Old Gods. In this book, the two join forces to begin an epic war aginst their common enemy. But the vampires have a new champion, who is determined that her people will triumph.
The story is told through the eyes of a high-ranking female vampire and a vampire who used to be a man.
This book is the sequel to "No Truce With The Vampires: Those Who Sleep." It continues immediately after the conclusion of the first book.
