Not How it Ends

Lexy Hext is a seventeen-year-old half-human. She has one friend and everyone at school either avoids her or bullies her. Why? Because for Lexy, and every half-blood, their life is short. Their human and nonhuman halves are incapable of supporting one another, causing them to go crazy after their seventeenth birthday.
