The volume contains the official correspondence between the Papal Nuncios at the Imperial Court and the Roman Curia from a dramatic period during the Thirty Yearsa (TM) War. The period covers the wars over the dukedoms of Mantua and Monferrat and the subsequent peace negotiations.
