Here they are in a new jacket, rewritten for our own day--still with their traditional blend of humour and satire--a little gentle criticism of the world we live in (with its food fads, bureaucracy, commercialism, racial divides and environmental problems), and here and there a touch of nostalgia. not quite for the nursery but for adults who remember how innocent it once seemed.
