Claimed as the daughter of the Devil, princess of Hell, and heiress to the Obsidian Throne; Rhesamyre has only ever known a semi-peaceful and luxurious lifestyle punctuated by trivial matters such as murders, schemes, and politics. Trained to be lethal in both body and mind, plenty have sought to underestimate her and her family. But when unknown forces begin murdering their nearly indestructible hellhounds, Rhesa is sent to investigate. Additionally, the infamous hunt for the Child of the First has begun once more by order of the mortal royals, and Rhesa's already challenging task to locate and dispatch Hell's enemies has become even more convoluted since foreign memories now haunt her dreams. While the male she has since allied herself with is oddly protective of her, and though tensions between the two run high, she knows if it came down to it, she'd betray him in a heartbeat to ensure Hell's safety.
