Of Murder and Malice

Private investigator Paige Harmon is back and settled in the City of Brotherly Love, trying to put the sordid detective world behind her. When her art professor is murdered, she is determined to leave things to the police, who already have a suspect in custody and a case that seems airtight. But then her friend Andie June asks Paige to take another look, and she finds that not all of the pieces add up as neatly as the authorities claim. Untangling the lies and subterfuge puts her own life in jeopardy, but it is the threat to a loved one that spurs Paige to seek justice on her terms.
