From the impressionable age of 8 yrs old, growing up in Jamaica, I've used poetry as a form of expression. Having a speech impediment (lisp), made it therapeutic to write when spoken words are either hard to say or simply not enough.

For almost 2 years, post my traumatic brain injury after an medically induced coma I've had a writer's block. Finally being freed of that writers block, the words have been flowing and I've had a lot to say.

It has always been a major dream of mines to become a published author. Knowing that I am now living that dream, is a complete bliss. And i am very thankful.

I write because of my personal experiences, because of my pain, because of my sadness, because of my happiness, because of my excitement, because of my fears, because i am not alone. I write for you, me and us.

Because life is an impossible mixture of OIL & WATER!
