Keikei is a twelve year old boy living in a humble and happy mixed tribe marriage. Suddenly conflict erupts in their adopted country, Kivaled, and in less than forty eight hours he is separated from his parents and he is on the run with other people fleeing to the unknown. He makes it to Kenya where for a while all is well at his uncle's place. Then Kenya too is engulfed in tribal clashes pitting his father's tribe against that of his mother. He fits in neither of the sides which makes him flee his uncle's house and into the street. This makes him an easy target for child molesters and would be human traffickers camouflaging as a not-for-profit-organization. All the time he wonders about his parents. Are they alive or... This question is finally answered by an undercover police unit action when they dramatically stop the bus taking Keikei and others across the border and into the dark world of international human trafficking. Through this book, Murigi brings to life the challenges encountered by innocent children when for their own gains; warlords, crafty politicians and the world of commerce conspire against them. Murigi is also the author of 'The Virgin of Kivaled - nana's transformation' which is available at Amazon.com
