On Encountering Sorrow

In his debut book of poetry, Kenyan poet, Gathu Wahome, captures not only the heart and soul of his native Kenya, but he strikes a universal chord as well. He creates a vivid image of the human condition through alternating poems of love and life with those of war and history.
