This second book in 'The Chronicles of Horton the Hare' follows our unlikely hero through more adventures and daring deeds helping out his friends at Bunglebury Hall and the villagers of Bunbury.
With his team of loyal and trustworthy companions he leads them through difficult situations using his virtual 'I was thinking' hat. Horton is a Hare with empathy for those he is helping when things seem to be going all wrong. Equally he loves the celebrations when the outcomes are even better than expected.
The book which is in three parts follows events through the seasons. Can Horton save the Winter Concert? How does he escape death during the Summer Outing? What does he do to save Bunglebury Hall from being consumed by fire? These are some of the adventures which continue to make Horton a true Hero.
It is a fun-filled book in which anthropomorphic characters interact with people and are a core part of their community.
