What does retirement mean? For some it is a leisurely life, but for those in the assassin world it means death!

After more than 25 years working as a government assassin, Macy Cooper decides to retire in the small town of Landen, Pennsylvania, and experience 'normal life.' She quickly questions what that entails when one of her neighbors dies mysteriously, and she is thrown into a new role of crime solver. Is it a murder, or merely an accident? The detective investigating the case refuses to consider clues and is soon at odds with Macy forcing her into an unusual alliance with a relative of the deceased. Will they be able to find the evidence they need? Can Macy keep her past a secret when her actions betray her identity? And what is she willing to sacrifice in order to find out?
