Some of the next generation's voices can be found right here in this collection of the finalist from the 2021 "Imagination begins with you?" annual high school writing contest. The annual writing contest started in 2011 has quickly become an opportunity for high school students to exhibit their writing ability with a short story. There is no restriction on subject or genre. You can find out more about the contest at www.coolimagination.com. Entrants are from nearly all 50 states and from some US citizens studying abroad. There are participants from public, charter, private and home schools.
