A present day unbelievable zigzagging journey involving deception and danger coupled with laughter and love while hunting for "stolen treasure" buried but never recovered after WW II, almost sixty years ago in Europe. Bob Phoenix inherits treasure maps and can't resist searching for these riches. He had no idea the price he'd pay for a chance at wealth. Bob and his cast of dynamic characters travel throughout Europe in search of this buried treasure. Did they find it? If they did, what would they do with it? Keep it? Why? Fence it? To Whom? Sell it? Where? Smuggle it through customs after 9/11? How? Also, why are the CIA, Russian and German Intelligence, the Aryan Nation and so many other national and international groups so interested in some rogue treasure hunters? What started out a joyride to wealth ended up a collision with Hell. Bob and company stumble across the one thing on the face of the planet that everybody wants and nobody wants.
