One Way Roads

Dr. Erik Függer isn’t who he appears to be. The harmless curator and tour guide for the National Museum of American History is actually an ex-Paramilitary Operations Officer, now working as a Senior Analyst for the CIA. Erik’s research into what would have occurred had Field Marshal Rommel – the Desert Fox – lived instead of being poisoned, leads him to be recruited for Project Pegasus, a U.S. time-travel exploration program. On his mission, Erik discovers a larger plan to kill an individual is set in motion. However, he immediately finds himself fighting for his life against unknown operatives, from his time, who are intent on preventing his success. Although he must overcome these attacks, Erik also learns that the individual’s death will ultimately result in the Germans successfully launching rockets armed with atomic warheads in 1944. Now he is in a moral dilemma would he save the individual to prevent a nuclear holocaust—that individual is Adolf Hitler!
