We explore the numerical simulation of the SLM/LBM process applied to a Ti-6Al-4V titanium superalloy femoral stem using Simufact Additive software. In addition, the application of topological optimization with lattice structures on a femoral component of a knee prosthesis is studied. This optimization, carried out using nTopology software, is validated by a static analysis performed with ANSYS, guaranteeing the reliability of the results obtained.
