Oral traditions of the nortina culture. An immaterial heritage

Considering the richness of the northern culture, especially its intangible heritage in the area of Arica and Parinacota, we seek to highlight the importance that legends, myths, typical phrases, sayings and traditions have had in its history, knowing beforehand that in many of these cultural expressions there is an intricate mixture of truth and fantasy.On the other hand to value that in all this diversity of oral manifestations there are marked influences that transcend to the region and that come from very old times, from colonial times and when this zone was before south of Peru and today it is the north of Chile, of course also of Altiplanic influence.
