This book will be a legacy for the next generation to be prepared for future pandemics and make them more aware of the dynamics that exist during global uncertainties. COVID-19 was like a ghost that suddenly appeared, allegedly from Asia, and lingered while creating damages and affecting the lives of everyone-those lives it did not take.

The world was not only at a lull, but it changed; therefore, this is a documentation of experiences and transformation during the pandemic. The book is ideal for history students and other students in tertiary institutions as research or reference material. It would also be an excellent book for those individuals who want to reflect on the pandemic in its absence.

Since the announcement of the pandemic on March 13, 2020, world leaders literally struggled to keep people alive while trying to maintain a sound economy. On April 8, 2020, Johns Hopkins University reported that 1,450,343 persons were infected with the virus and 83,615 had died globally.
