Socratic wisdom dictates 'An unexamined life is not worth living', and one guy took that seriously enough to leave his cat and king-sized bed at home in the Pacific Northwest for a few weeks, to bus, bike and train around the Southwest of Ireland in social inquiry and (self) examination. From Cork to Killarney, around the Ring of Kerry, up to Galway and the Aran Islands and back, he will meet fishermen, farmers, French women, a ferry captain, travelers, locals and dozens more in between to discover how people find meaning in life.
