Out of the Abyss is about a woman who educated herself, survived an abusive and horrific marriage, and due to severe depression after the loss of a loved one, ended up in prison. It is a true story, showing that despite everything she has gone through, the author has managed to climb Out of the Abyss. Barbara Traylor Mazzella is a retired physician.
