Outside the Box is a story of not fitting in to a designed path. It spans a journey of 70 years and encapsulates family demands, the struggles and confusion of the Vietnam War, business in New York City, and the highly competitive athletic fields of Florida and Alabama.

The story captures the challenges of trying to meet expectations while dealing with the lessons and pain of war and the turbulent times.

Along the way, the story will introduce a cast of characters representing members from high society to blue collar survivors, astute business professionals, skeptical and sympathetic educators, Marine sergeants, demanding coaches, shrewd business owners, and

romantic entanglements all woven together in an understanding and appreciation of the human spirit.

Outside the Box will make you laugh and cry as you follow the emotional rollercoaster of someone trying to meet and achieve recognition and success having deviated from the plan and traditions of their family.
