Born au Cap-Haitien in 1972, Marie grew up in a modest home with her three loving siblings. Her lovely late mother, Sylianie Tertulien, raised her to be an independent and strong-minded woman. Marie relocated to the US in April of 2000. First, she went ahead and earned a Bachelor's degree in Professional Studies with a concentration in Legal Studies. Then, in December of 2010, she graduated with a Masters from Barry University School of Social Work.
