Paco the Alpaca (Paco la Alpaca)

A sweet bilingual children's story about finding confidence despite having imperfections. Paco, the little alpaca, daydreams of becoming a champion at the animal fair until he discovers that his smile is not perfect. He goes to the dentist where he finds more than his shiny teeth. 

Un cuento infantil bilinge para encontrar confianza en uno mismo. Paco, la alpaca, suea de ser un campen en la feria de animales hasta que descubre que su sonrisa no es perfecta. Paco va al dentista donde encuentra ms que sus dientes brillantes.  

About the author (Sobre la autora)

Rox Siles was born in Bolivia and moved at a young age to the United States.  She currently works as a physician in Ohio. She developed a passion for writing children's books after reading bedtime stories with her son.  In her free time, Rox enjoys spending time with her family and their two dogs, Tika and Jazz. Paco's story was inspired by a visit to a local Alpaca farm. 

Rox Siles naci en Bolivia y lleg a Estados Unidos a temprana edad.  Ahora ella trabaja de doctora en Ohio. Desarroll una pasin por escribir libros para nios al leer cuentos con su hijo antes de ir a dormir. En su tiempo libre, Rox disfruta de su familia y sus dos perritos, Tika y Jazz. La historia de Paco fue inspirada durante una visita a una granja local de alpacas.
