Paediatric Cholestasis: Novel Approaches to Treatment

This book reviews the physiological basis of bile formation as well as its ontogenesis, describes the most important cholestatic liver diseases in infancy, and critically reviews treatment modalities of cholestatic liver diseases: surgical and medical, new and old. The book addresses paediatricians and hepatologists, as well as basic scientists interested in bile acid metabolism and its derangements in cholestasis.
