Palestinian Leadership On The West Bank

The West Bank of the Jordan river has been the core area of the Palestinian-Arab community and of its national movement. It has also become since 1967 the new confrontation ground in the century- old conflict between Arab and Jewish nationalism over Palestine/ Eretz Israel. Simultaneously, its destiny is likely to become a crucial test case of the developing Egyptian-Israeli peace process in the Middle East.
