Parakram aur Parampara

The internal history of princely states is the history of Mughals and British in India rather than the people of India. Enough is not known about the nobles who dominated the affairs of the States between 11th and 20th century to local records, as memoirs, correspondence etc about these people is not available. Efforts made in public interest, by Commander Pratap Singh Mehta's book, "Rajputana Chronicle: Parakram aur Parampara - Rajputana ke Vismrut Shasakon aur Mantriyon ke Shaurya ki Etihasik Gatha" (Rajputana Chronicle: Valour and Tradition - Historical Saga of the Valour of the forgotten rulers and ministers of Rajputana) is an important link in this direction.

The author, Commander Pratap Singh Mehta, has dealt with the political and administrative challenges in the states of Rajputana and has also given an authentic account of the socio-economic conditions in the state.
