Kayla is in love with Jeremy until she finds out he is an abuser and a cheater. She tries to move on but continues to get involved with situations against her favor. Kayla winds up caught in her own lies and deception once she discovers she is pregnant. Then Kayla decides to move to Georgia and pursue other opportunities only to be disappointed again. She roommates with a co-worker and eventually finds out the roommate only moved with her to be closer to a married man who is vicious. On top of that, Kayla is dealing with issues of her own that are life changing once she gets involved in another relationship with a street pharmacist.
