Paul Wealer's story is, admittedly, one-sided, and incredibly bitchy; but that is why the reader comes to admire him, albeit grudgingly. Dealing with Those Bastards and Bitches is really starting to get to him. So much so that he might just crack, and break the unwritten rules of the Firm... Frank Cee's novel is a humorous and sharp, yet gloomy portrayal of a profession that has always provoked interest and rancor. Never sure if it is fact or fiction, the reader encounters a sleazy world, the kind which could, indeed, be lurking in our very own suburban havens...
