Este es un libro que contiene doce capítulos basados en la novela del escritor Ray Blaine, quien es el creador del método Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling. (T.P.R.S.). 

Este libro de actividades y ejercicios se puede usar en la escuela secundaria en los niveles I y II en currículo del departamento de español. Los profesores Padmore-Rogers y Valecillos presentan una serie de actividades y ejercicios en este libro en dónde se practican las cuatro destrezas básicas del idioma, tales como: comprensión, práctica oral, lectura y escritura. Con el uso de este libro los estudiantes estarán motivados para hacer los ejercicios, ya que fueron cuidadosamente diseñados con material auténtico y preparado exclusivamente para los estudiantes del siglo XXI incorporando las normas fundamentales del plan de estudios.

GERARDO VALECILLOS - BIOGRAPHY 

Who is Mr. Valecillos? He's a Spanish/ESL teacher who grew up in Venezuela, a beautiful country in South America. He has a vast experience in teaching English and Spanish as a second language. He studied at Universidad Pedagógica de Caracas, Venezuela where he got his Bachelor’s degree in English. He attended classes at Rutgers and NYU to become a certified Spanish teacher in New Jersey. He also studied English at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas to become a certified Defense Language Institute instructor. He worked as a translator/interpreter for The Venezuelan/American F-16 aircraft Delta Project at the Venezuelan Air Force for 17 years. Mr. Valecillos worked for the Central Regional School District in NJ for 11 years. There he was awarded Teacher of the Year in 2011. Mr. Valecillos is the coauthor of the text book, “Don Quijote de la Mancha Activities & Exercises.” Presently he teaches at Lacey Township High School in NJ. 

DELIA PADMORE-ROGERS - BIOGRAPHY

Mrs. Padmore-Rogers is a veteran Spanish professor from Panamá City, Republic of Panamá. A well-known country for the Panamá Canal. She is a motivated and outgoing professor willing to face new challenges. She studied at Instituto Nacional de Panamá in which she received her academic High School Diploma in Languages. She attended York College in which she received her Bachelor's Degree in Spanish/Education. In between her degree, she studied at Jaime del Amo University in Madrid, España. She continued her education at Queens College in which she received her Master's Degree in Secondary Education. She taught Spanish in Panamá City for two years. She continued teaching at John Adams High School in New York City for six years.
